Just a short mail to say "thank you " for all your help with our short weekend stay at 'Pen y Bont'.
We had a very enjoyable stay!
You have a lovely site, which we would recommend to anyone.
It was so well ordered and very clean.
You gave us a very warm welcome and accommodated all our needs.
Although all the sailing didnt go to plan and the weather was 'changeable'!! we had a good time.

Hello there,we sent last weekend at your campsite and would just like to say what a lovely site it is clean,tidy and well set out,the picnic tables and BBQ log stands are an excellent idea,we are all coming back next year and hope to meet up with the new friends we made,thank you for letting us stay a bit longer on Sunday to dry our kit out,see you in 2012 take care.

Just spent five days in your Rent-a-Tent, we have had a fabulous time, everything we needed all set up for us, lovely clean site, excellent facilities, nice shop, lovely hosts. The wood carvings add a lovely touch.
We hadn't been camping for many years, but I'm sure we will be back to see you soon.

Hi Just to say thank you, we only stayed 2 nights for the bala
triathlon but we cant fault the campsite, did not geat much of a chance
to talk to the staff (owners) but when we booked they were very
helpfull and when on site very nice and helpfull. the toilets and
showers were very clean, Bala and the surrounding area was beautifull
although the rain on sunday did spoil the bike leg of the tri. only
wish we could have stayed longer.

Got back home late last night and wanted to drop you a line to say what a FANTASTIC time we had at your site.  We arrived Thursday pm and from the moment we came through the gates you were so friendly and helpful.  The campsite is immaculate and we were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities.  The campsite is a credit to you and has such a relaxing atmosphere.  I would recommend this site to everyone as we had such a pleasant experience.

I just wanted to say thankyou for a fantastic memorable holiday. We thoruoghly enjoyed our holiday at Penybont, we often promote your campsite to family and friends. Your campsite is very clean, children-friendly and expertly laid out. Also, there is plenty of space for your tents and there is good washing up and cleaning facilities. There is a good little campfire circle with wooden statues which was a good idea. Your camsite is also very decorative. Overall your camsite is fantastic.
No doubt we'll be back.

Just a quick note to say thank you very much for our weekends camping at Pen-y-bont campsite. We all had an excellent weekend and we were very impressed with the facilities that you have.

My son Oliver said it was the best campsite he has ever stayed at and we all agreed with him. In our haste to get going we neglected to return the picnic table to its original position so I am sorry about that.

Dear All

My family and I have just returned home from a wonderful 10days at your site. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the site is excellent and very well placed to enjoy the lake on our kayak!
I also want to extend my gratitude to you for your help in sorting the pump problem out on our caravan, without making us feel like novices who know nothing about the practicalities of caravanning!! ;)
Not forgetting our attention seeking loveable little rogue of a dog – thanks for sharing your smiles and affection with him!

Pen Y Bont,
Firstly I would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay with you on Thursday and Friday night, you have a great caravan site with very friendly staff and a well stocked shop, if it wasnt for your shop enabling us to buy a tarpolin to stay dry on the thursday night our stay may have been spoilt by the weather, as it happened we enjoyed watching the rain coming down while sat under our tarpolin.
 
I am e-mailing again to enquire if you have space for two to three tents on the 24,25th of September, myself and a friend will be doing the 70 wild miles race on and around Bala lake for cancer research and we would love to stay with you again, I have told my friends that Pen Y Bont is the place to stay for a trip to Bala.

We would just like to say a big 'Thank You' for a wonderful stay 31st July - 6th August 2010.

The owners/management are very friendly and warm towards everyone and the site itself was just great. It caters for Touring Caravans (we stayed in ours on this visit) and Campers (we may try our tent one day

here) and the facilities were very good. The toilet / shower block was very clean with plenty of hot water and never seemed to be busy when we wanted to use them.

Once again many thanks, we will be back soon.

Just a note to say thank you for an excellent campsite. We really enjoyed our stay with you this past week even though the weather was more like autumn!!
 
I would recommend your site to anyone who is looking for a quiet, well set out and well equipped campsite for exploring north Wales and the Snowdonia Park.
 
Even though the weather was a bit on the wild side at times we didn't mind and everyone on the site was friendly and helpful.

Thanks for putting us up at short notice from Sat 15  to Wed 19 May, after confusing our campsites!  We really enjoyed our stay in pleasant, neatly laid out surroundings with beautifully clean and tidy toilet/washrooms. Thanks also for all your advice and assistance, especially with the walk to Llanuwchllyn. 

Before we departed we did manage to sit down amongst the Mabinogion Wood Carvings and study your leaflet of the Welsh Legends.  It was very well composed and eventually all made sense thus providing a far better understanding of the characters.  Thanks for “insisting” we did so.

All the very best and we hope not to leave our next visit for as long as the previous visit …… 12 years ago!

Easy walking distance from the town centre and the lake. The owners, Cate & Peter, are lovely and go out of their way to make everyone feel very welcome.
On-site shop stocked for emergency supplies - teabags, milk and biccies!
Toilet/shower facilities are kept exceptionally clean! We love the efforts being made to help maintain our environment - push button water, recycling bins etc.
Ideal location for site seeing and walking in the area whilst maintaining a 'homely feel' that made us want to come back time after time. We've met some great people and thoroughly enjoyed our summer on this site. We'd happily recommend it to anyone. We'll be back there next year.

 

Returned to this campsite this year and found it to be still excellent. The site is very well run and the owners are most helpful. The grass is kept short, with plenty of room between caravans.
The shower blocks are immaculate and the shop well stocked with all the essentials. It is excellent value for money and very quiet. It's ideal for those who wish to use the facilities on Bala Lake.

We will definitely recommend this site and no doubt we’ll be back.

Just a few words to thank everyone at penybont camping park for a relaxing weekend. Visited this site about 29 years ago when it was just a field,a lot has changed since. Great clean toilets and shower block and a nice little shop onsite overall excellent. Will be back as soon as i can really enjoyed my stay. Left early Sunday morning,had to luck-up some relatives who live around the Gwynedd area,so sorry i didn't say thank you and goodbye personally. Would recomend your site to my family and friends. Once again thanx for your hospitality.

We would just like to say thank you to our hosts on the site for a fantastic time in your hands. The site was brilliant, the location second to none, our pitch just the ticket and the weather was spot on. This was our second time in Bala but our first on this site, we shall return year after year as we think this is one of the best sites we have visited. Everyone should try a little Heaven in there camping life and this is probably the closest you are going to get. A small site but very big in every other way. We took two extra members of our family this time and they were very impressed with the layout and the location of the site. A big thank you and see you again.

Just to say how much we enjoyed our stay in mid-June, despite the weather! We thought the site was brilliant - quiet, clean, tidy, great facilities block and always clean. It really spoilt us for our brief stay on the municipal campsite at Lichfield (decidedly second rate) after leaving Penybont. The walk into Bala was just right (except when it rained) with all the shops and eateries we needed (great fish and chips even on Sunday night). We had a ride on the railway, and some enjoyable walks in the area, and sometimes we just lazed around reading books bought from the second-hand collection at the Gallery. The wildlife was great with treecreepers even on the tree next to our motorhome. Lots of interesting buildings and history to be found just in Bala itself.
