Tent Sizes

We have placed a limit on the number on the large tents pitches we allocate.

This is because an extremely large area of the pitch is permanently covered by canvas and combined with their fiixed groundsheets damages most of the grass on a pitch making it unusable for future bookings. Also on adjacent pitches / customers are often left feeling crowded out by the size and profusion of guy ropes which often stray over pitch boundaries.

This applies to tents generally over 4.5mtrs wide and in particular the very large POD style of dome tent -see image  below.
