Tent Sizes

We have placed a limit on the maximum size of dome tent we can accept on one pitch.

That being tents generally over 4.5mtrs wide. In particular the very large POD style of dome tent as they are extremely large and often will not fit on our standard sized pitches comfortably.

An extremely large area of the pitch is permanently covered by canvas and combined with their fiixed groundsheets damages most of the grass on a pitch making it unusable for future bookings. Also on adjacent pitches / customers are often left feeling crowded out by the size and profusion of guy ropes which often stray over pitch boundaries.

If you wish to bring a pod dome tent or suspect you have an excessively large tent please check when booking that it will fit our pitch layout.
